Now you can have up to 500 Mbps of low-cost networking, including wireless coverage, on any existing wire. TangoTec’s technology easily distributes the “Triple Play” service (IPTV/HDTV, Voice Over IP, and Internet) without the need to install new cables such as CAT5/6 or Fiber Optic cables.
TangoTec’s patented technology provides you with an “Ethernet over Any Wire” network by distributing IP over any existing wire: coaxial, telephone, electrical lines, and CAT5/6.

Tangotec’s 3Wire Network System uses the homes existing coaxial, telephone and power line infrastructures already in place to distribute “Triple Play” services (HD IPTV, high-speed data and VoIP) and to create a Home Network for diverse applications. The 3Wire Network System requires no extra wiring or complex installations. It leads the way into the convergence market.
The 3Wire Network System may be used as an extension to the current DSL/FTTH connection providing an easy and trouble free distribution of HD IPTV video streams from DSL/FIBER modem to the homes TV sets and IP data/voice to every power, phone and TV outlet in the home with no need to install new wires.

The 3Wire Network System consists of 2 elements: The 3Wire Ethernet Adapter “Gateway” and the “Remote” units which are distributed throughout the home (can be connected to every TV outlet, phone outlet AND power outlet).
IPTV streams originated at the Central Office (CO) reach the home via DSL or FIBER connections. The 3Wire Ethernet Adapter “Gateway” is connected to the DSL / Fiber MODEM via a standard 100BaseT connection. This “Gateway” Ethernet Adapter is connected to the coax, phone, and power outlets. It converts the IP streams to RF signals and transmits them over the existing coaxial, phone and power lines.
For IPTV application - a 3Wire Ethernet Adapter “Remote unit” can be connected to every TV, telephone, and power outlet in the home. It converts the RF signal back to IP format. An IP Set Top Box is connected to the 3Wire Ethernet Adapter “Remote unit” which converts the IP video streams to a common TV format.
For Data and Voice applications - a 3Wire Ethernet Adapter “Remote unit” can be connected to every coax, phone and power outlet in the home. It converts the RF signal back to IP format. Customer can connect PC, IP phone or any IP based application to the unit via a standard 1 Gb port. As an option - customer can use the 3Wire Ethernet Adapter with a built in 802.11g/n access point for wireless applications.
The 3Wire Ethernet Adapters can be placed anywhere on the coaxial TV, phone or Power network and does not interfere with the existing CATV or Satellite signals.The system can use all the existing home infrastructure. Tangotec patented auto sensing mechanism evaluates the performances of each type of home infrastructure and can chose the network with the better performances.
EoC Network System

TangoTec’s Ethernet over Coax (EoC) Network system establishes a network within a building or community, enabling IP traffic over the existing coaxial cables already in place. It is an elegant plug-n-play high speed data distribution solution that coexists with TV channels, DOCSIS and DBS services.
The EoC Network System provides fast reliable and cost effective distribution of broadband internet access over the existing coaxial cables. With the EoC Network Sysetem, the cable operators, Telcos, MATV/SMATV providers, and integrators can extend internet access to every TV outlet over any coax topology. There is no need for infrastructure rewiring.
The EoC Network System can be connected to any broadband source reaching the building. Up to 254 customers can be reached through the EoC Network system, enabling common costs to be divided between network users, including the WAN connection and other services such as firewall, virus protection, parental control and billing.
The EoC Network System meets the requirements of multi dwelling units (MDUs) and campuses. It creates new opportunities for revenue generation wherever a TV coax connection exists and enables providers to service their clients needs today and in the future.

The PCE Series “Gateway”- an EoC Ethernet Adapter that is connected to any WAN source (DSL, ATM, FTTB, CABLE, SAT) in one side and to the coax at the other side. This unit manages up to (254) “remote” EoC Ethernet Adapters with an operation range of up to 1,000m (3,300 ft) and total system speed of up to 500 Mbps.
The PCE Series “Remote Unit” - an EoC Ethernet Adpater that is connected to the coax at the user side:
- PCE - with 10/100/1000 BaseT port
- PCE-3L - with built-in 3-port LAN
- PCE-WL - with built-in 2-port LAN & 802.11n WLAN
- PCE-NRG - with built-in Gnrgy Extreem RF module for Smart Grid monitoring & control
